This course is for parents who want to understand and respond to their child’s big feelings with confidence and compassion. Stuart will help you unpack your own emotional responses to your child’s feelings, exploring how past experiences and long-help beliefs about emotions can quietly shape the way we react.

You will discover how to tune in to what your child is experiencing, help them name and express their emotions in safe and appropriate ways, and guide them toward deciding what to do with those feelings. Through practical strategies and valuable insights, you will build confidence for the everyday struggles, transforming emotional difficulties into opportunities for connection, understanding, and growth.

This course will cover:
- Awareness of one’s own emotions and recognition of others’ emotions
- Use of emotional vocabulary to express feelings clearly
- Empathy and perspective-taking in understanding others’ experiences
- Regulation of emotions and effective coping with stress
- Emotional communication in relationships
- Emotional self-efficacy: confidence in managing one’s emotions
